They say you always remember your first.

The first time you drove a car, and the first car you ever owned.

The first time you traveled without your parents by your side.

The first time you had your heart broken. The first time you broke someone else's heart, and of course, your first kiss.

I also happen to find that most people remember the first person they had on crush on.

I don't mean a celebrity crush. When I was 5-years-old I thought I loved John Travolta when he played Danny Zuko, but that's not the same thing.

I'm talking about the first time you really liked that kid in your class. They were so cute back then and who knows what they are up to today. Even now you might think back and smile about it only because they were your first crush. How can you not smile about that?

I remember the first crush I ever had was when I was in kindergarten. For whatever reason, I also happen to remember a few random guys I had crushes on throughout the years, and believe me, there are some I wish I hadn't now. That was years ago.

Just because a girl liked a guy for a couple of weeks or dated him for all of five days does not mean she will always have a place for him in her heart.

Do you understand that guys? I didn't think so. I'll say it another way. Some guys just need to get over themselves.

There have been many times when my friends and I have ran into a guy that one of us had some silly meaningless thing for at one time or another and this guy happened to know about it.

Or even a guy one of us had dated for a short amount of time years ago, the reaction is always the same.

If we happen to cross paths with a guy from the past, he will suddenly get all quiet and mutter a rude "Hello," and ignore the girl who liked him at one time.

The girl brushes it off, confused about why the guy is making things awkward.

Eventually, the guy will end up mumbling something to one of the girl's friends that usually goes something like this, "Yeah, she's a little psycho. I just don't want to deal with her. I hope she doesn't come up and try talking to me."
