Horoscopes provide entertainment, insight

They are considered staples in magazines and newspapers today. With one little paragraph of wisdom, they provide insight about what to expect from the day.
"I read horoscopes because whether or not you find truth in them, it makes you think and question your current situations. At the very least, they entertain, but to some they inspire," Theresa Scaduto, a junior elementary education major, said.
The question lingers regarding the meaning behind horoscopes and why it is that they have the ability to motivate people.
According to Horoscope.FindYourFate.com, astrology is considered one of the oldest philosophies in the world, with an estimate of about 3,000 years old.
Astrology was used to, and still can be, dedicated to helping people predict what certain outcomes might be in the world.
It could sometimes help to determine what will happen to countries, the economy, the war and other situations.
This could be relatable today because many look to their horoscope to get insight on what the day has in store for them.
Astrology and horoscopes are based on the belief that when the sun and stars are aligned a certain way, it can have an effect on a person's life. It is also believed that astrology can help determine what the future holds for this person.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!! No one comes her knowing it all. There is an Africian Proverb that states "It takes an entire village to raise one child"; if you agree with that; we are all going and learning everyday! Having said that if there is someone that has all little more experience and "knowing" the help can't hurt! Use everything that is available to better yourself! KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!!
